  5.     DIED. Sylvia Fine Kaye, 78, songwriter and widow of the
  6. entertainer Danny Kaye, for whom she created his most famous
  7. stage and film material; of emphysema; in New York City. Kaye
  8. wrote the music and lyrics for many of her husband's films
  9. including The Kid from Brooklyn (1946), The Secret Life of
  10. Walter Mitty (1947), The Inspector General (1949) and The Court
  11. Jester (1956). Among her best-known compositions was the
  12. "Tchaikovsky number" from Lady in the Dark, in which Danny raced
  13. rhythmically through the names of 51 Russian composers.
